Even in todays world, we are still dealing with controversy with gay rights internationally, it's an ongoing battle, the internet has been both a blessing and curse for us. People are more divided than ever, much of the pushback has originated from US soil, however, every country has some form of opposition. While we have made progress in various ways, in some places it has gone in the reverse direction. (See article by The Guardian)
